To reach these figures go back in time, buy cheap Adword ads, optimize your landing pages, collect in Adsense.

Bear in mind that report doesn't tell you how much he was spending, so you don't know how much he was taking home.

Google has pretty much put en end to arbitrage, some still do it but for the vast majority arbitrage is dead.
