Switzerland OK's legalized heroin program but says no to marijuana...
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081130/...nd_heroin_vote
LOL. Okay so I understand why they want to legalize the heroin program... they are basically saying "let's treat these people because they are addicts instead of putting them in jail." But at the same time, they are saying that the casual marijuana user can not partake legally because they are not addicts? LOL. Any Swiss here to explain? |
Have you ever met anyone from Switzerland?

Sounds good

I was with people smoking on the streets in Switzerland. It is legal for personal consumption. The guy explained that he could not sell to me but if my other friend wanted they could smoke together. So four people passed a joint while I hung out on the street. Seemed pretty ok not that 3 am in front of a bar in a foreign language is where you want to get your legal advice but seemed solid.

Is it any different than the guy who sued his former employer for wrongful dismissal after being fired for habitual drunkeness? The dude claimed his alcoholism was a disease and the company had discriminated against him because of it.
He actually won the case. :disgust |
