Can someone explain everything about submitting gallerys?
 

Newb here. I have been looking at submitting gallerys.
I see that thehun.net only takes .html files. I run wordpress. I thought there would be a way to make a static page on wordpress and convert it to html but i guess not. Is there a theme in wordpress that is stripped bare and is specificaly for creating gallerys?

Is there a program similar to chameleon people use to quickly make the html gallerys? Or do you just use dreamweaver/frontpage?
What about fancy templates, waste of bandwidth?

First off, no blogs or using wordpress for anything gallery related.

Galleries need to be static html pages.

You can use any of the programs you mentioned to build galleries like dreamweaver or frontpage. You can also hire designers to make galleries as plain or as fancy as you want then just drop the pics or movie clips into them.

I'm not an expert on submitting but I hope that answered some of your questions.

yep what Jim said and I will add 'Arles' is good software for making thumb galleries. To get a good idea of what design you should use take a look at what is listed and then be prepared to do a lot of trial and error. Also, dont go submitting to thehun on a shared hosting acct that charges for bandwidth overages.

No offence meant, but I'm quite sure you'll fail at this unless you're VERY talented, VERY dedicated or VERY lucky.

Submitting galleries is just not a way to start anymore in this biz nowadays I'd say...

as others said, don't bother with galleries, a better more modern way for you to fail would be to set up a tubesite and spend your money on bandwidth there with no sales :1orglaugh

Here's a rough draft of something that might help you out with dreamweaver. It's supposed to get visuals added to it to make it easier to understand, but not sure that's going to happen so hopefully it helps you a little or gets you in the right direction.

Use chameleon to submit until (or if you ever learn) what you are doing. Then you'll want paid partner accounts if they still exist by then.

You won't get rich and might not even make a living with galleries alone, but the more people who stop submitting, the less competition you have. It's the same as anything else especially this new splogging craze that's taken everyone by storm.

You're main focus in porn is selecting coveted content. Everything else is secondary.

I recommend you check out some webmaster tutorial sites. Use google and you'll find some good ones that explain the whole tgp submitting process, how to build galleries, etc.
