you seem to be missing the boat, haven't you noticed all the sponsors that are paying $100 pps AND boasting a 1:279 ratio??
There are 1000's of new webmasters becoming millionaires as we speak.....:pimp |

how much more easy can it get, send 10000 uniques and their magical mystery tour will convert at 1:200 so you will get 50 sales in a day and maybe even win a booby prize :1orglaugh

But yeah I mean.. anyone converting at less than 2:1 is just wasting time ... or so I've heard... |
This is 12 clicks bait....just wait for it.....

But you don't say what it is that you do or how you do it. Are you an affiliate? How do you send traffic? How long you been doing this? Because then you said "liars step up to the plate" Some people on here, like me, have our own sites and our own traffic and know our way around and know how to make money. Things are slow right now. No doubt. There are a lot of reasons for that. But to make a statement that you are doing bad, and so are a bunch of others...and so anyone who is doing well must be a liar is a little too broad of a paintbrush to use. A lot of the big mega sites...I can't sell memberships anymore. I send 'em a ton of traffic. But there stuff is all over the tubes and torrents. So yeah, that is bad news. Can't sell a membership when the entire site is ripped for free. And now we have affiliates "educating" surfers about x-sells. So now...we have millions of surfers who have been told a business secret and are now afraid to pull their card. Smart move. Probably the only business in the world where the salesmen are fucking up their own sales by revealing hidden costs. And of course there is the economy. Sucks. And even worse is the psychological fear that people have. They might not have felt anything yet...but the media keeps talking 24/7 about how bad it is and it scares the shit out of the people who aren't doing too bad, because they think they are next so they sit on their money. But for all of that...I've seen worse and made good money. Gonna keep right on doing it. If you're promoting a paysite that doesn't convert anymore. Keep looking. You'll figure out in the next few months that the site that PROTECT their content and shoot exclusive stuff with a solo girl with fans who are loyal and seek her out and stay is where the money is. And there are also some other great sites that just came out and are selling real well for me. But I'm not gonna tell you which ones. Just check my free sites and you'll see what I'm pushing hard. I follow the money. And it's all revshare baby! |
Yeah I get all that. Robbie, I shook your hand in San Francisco. I met your lovely wife. You don't need to sell me. It is just a train of thought.
|
but y'all know business sucks. When I first did this, it was raining money. Huge amounts of cash. Now.....its business. Just like the real world. It takes acumen. Skill. And a large investment of capital. The good times are over, not the profits.
|
I dunno, I know people doing 40+ joins a day to single sponsors, have plenty of affiliates doing very well.
|
It is only the first day of the month. Much too early to tell.

Seriously, I'm horrible at remembering people Of course I can't remember you just by a nickname on GFY. I mostly hung out those days with Jerry Lewis, Mark Womack, LAJ and the pack of whores we brought with us for the show. I just really don't remember eating any shrimp as I took the cable car down to the water each day to eat lunch. |

I can see from your posts you are just a shit stirring board personality wannabee, so I'm wasting my breath, but if you had any biz sense, you wouldn't be sitting in that sinking ship your sitting in ( a $49 wal-mart bought desk chair) and you'd be making some loot instead of trying to bait people. fuck your negative shitty and completely unentertaining attitude and I bid you adieu! :321GFY |

I stopped looking at conversions. New trend is to satisfy clients (they aren't numbers).
And go from there. And it works, you'll see... |

When I buy a new car I pay for what I want. When I buy groceries I don't have things added to my cart without me or my girlfriend adding them. When I buy clothes, I don't let them throw in matching items unless I want them. I chose what I buy and when I buy it. You can't really be telling me that you pay for hidden extras every day in life now can you?? I thought you were smarter than that. |

See the salesmen make their money off of commission and they get a nice percentage off fo the "product" that they sell you as does the finance manager you sat with in the office to conclude the deal. Car sales are VERY detailed in how they work. Everything is planned out from the moment you drive onto the lot to the time you walk out smiling with a new car. And yes, you spent thousands more than what was neccessary. Everybody does. It's how they do business. Not saying that crazy x-sells are good. Just saying, that you are wrong about things you buy everyday. I can't speak for other businesses. But I can for new car sales. And for used car sales which is a different monster. And also for boat sales at a marina as one of my brothers left car sales and bought a marina where he can "whack" you even better. Standard practice in high dollar retail. Just a different method of doing it. In the end..a Good Deal is when both sides are happy and THINK they got a "good deal" Kinda hard to have customer satisfaction if I as an affiliate started telling my surfers that they some sites will screw them. That leads to overall suspicion. Just like retail sales will NEVER reveal business practices to the general public. |
