Something I've noticed about milk
 

Organic Milk has an expiration date that is like a month long. It actually saves me money cuz I don't have to throw out the bad milk anymore.

There is also long life milk that lasts even longer.

I don't buy milk though, rarely drink the stuff.

Make sure your refrigerator is cold enough. If it's just a weee bit warmer then it should be the milk spoils faster

damnit i should have thought about that , my old lady convinced me having kids would end my spoiled milk problem , now theres just never any milk

I just use it for my coffee mostly. and the occasional bowl of cereal if I am working late night and dont feel like hoping in the car.

But I think maybe you are right, it's just extra pasteurized, not necessarily anything to do with it being Organic.

If you add a pinch of salt to it when you open it. It will add a lot of extra time as well and you will not taste the salt.

also your fridge might me over stuffed with bullshit. causes the temp to go down ... milk shouldn't spoil before its supposed to.

it also does a body good.

Goats milk all the way, love that stuff!

Milk contains a lot of potassium, so if you add some salt, you create a sodium/potassium balance, both in nutrition and taste.

Pasteurized goes rancid faster because the process killed all the "good competition", so bad bacteria and molds have a perfect growth medium.

For your info, pork is the ideal growmedium in labs to grow cancercells on for research.

Soy milk has a pretty long exp date too.

dog piss lasts longer than milk too but you wont catch me drinkin it :)

I won't touch anything containing (or made from) soy - my doctor told me it reduces fertility and testosterone levels in men!!

I don't think I've EVER bought milk myself.

Thanks, reminded me to buy milk.

The lower fat the milk, the longer it lasts has been my experience.

I get 1% now and it seems to last forever compared to whole milk.
