On Thanksgiving I rode out to my son's in-laws for dinner. After dinner his step-son's cousin (I think) was invited to spend the night with them. I followed them over to my son's house at which time the following conversation (between two 5 year old boys) was revealed to me.

Cousin: Why do you call him baddog instead of grandpa?
Tyler: Because grandpas are boring and sad and watch TV all day. baddog can do whatever he wants and has cool stuff.

I think I like this kid.

I hope I get to be a cool Grandpa one day. Although I'm hoping not too soon!! (my kids are only 14 and 8 lol) I will have to get a chopper though, I think :D

I think the people of your generation and mine definitely seem a lot younger physically and mentally than in previous generations.

nice nice! I have become an uncle and thats a start for me... and I make quite a "different" uncle as well. the kids come screaming out of the house when they see me coming, ive never had this before.
