The more they stay the same...

Our cats love Christmas trees... it's like a magical universe to them they get lost in for hours.

Hi PK... cute thread :)

Tree got finished up today.. now there's some decorations on the floor around it.. but it still leaves room for the cats to get next to it and sleep. There were 4 of them at once when I came home earlier today.

I think it might be the warmth from the lights.. but who knows. At least they don't try to climb it..and I gave up on tinsel long ago.

That is so adorable, and I was just thinking that as I read your last post above.... 4 of them IN the tree? or under... :1orglaugh

I knew a chick who had a little green parrot she would let live in the xmas tree every year. When you got close enough to check out a decoration it would pop out and try to bite you. :1orglaugh

Adorable kitty! My cats cant just lay under the tree, they climb it and break as many ornaments as they can :(

Hahaha...somethings never change!

Cats under trees, parrots in trees, reminds me of when my cat was a little kitten she'd actually get into the lamp. Actually this thin ledge around the lamp.

She could never do it now, two years later, the lamp would probably fall over from the weight. hehe

At one point years ago I had 4 cats. Thank god they all stayed kitten sized. We put our tree up the one year and left it over night so it could "settle". We came down the next morning and all you could see hanging under the tree were 4 sets of paws. They were all laying on the lower branches legs just a hanging. LOL. We ended up not being able to decorate the bottom 1/4 of the tree because we couldnt get them to stop laying on the branches.

Nothing like chasing a cat around to pull tinsel hanging out of its ass! :1orglaugh

LOL !!! It looks nice and cosy under there anyway.

Our last cat used to pull down our xmas tree. We'd come home most days at the tree would be lying on the floor, with the cat hiding somewhere upstairs... :1orglaugh
