Ouch Bratz looses to Barbie.
Seems Mattel finally won and Bratz now belongs to them unless some miracle appeal works. Right before Christmas as well. Well if anyone really wants to gamble perhaps picking some up may be good. If your just interested in copyright though the case is based on it.

My daughter likes both barbie and bratz.. I don't particularly care for the bratz though.. too ghetto and skanky for a child.. bad influence.

Win for another American monopoly.
|
ummmmm.....
okay. |
My oldest daughter has always thought Bratz were freaky as hell. My young one thinks they're cute
|
now what da hell are we gonna do :(
|
Thankfully my youngest daughter just grew out of dolls this year or she would be sick, she was a huge Bratz fan.... ouch!
|
I wish I could find a girl with Bratz girl lips in real life...
|
barbie is so sexy 2c
|
That all has to do with the guy who developed the Bratz, doing so while he was employed by Mattel right? I heard about that suit over a year ago. Guess it's just being resolved now.

I don't have kids, but scary the influence these things might have on them. |
regardless of the influence on kids, the issue between mga and mattel is beyond stupid. Like the guy couldn't of came up with it in his free time. They might of had a contract with him but they don't own his thoughts.

Exclusive = Exclusive..... Back when Steve Jobs & Steve Woz. made the first "home computer" Woz was under EXCLUSIVE contract with IBM, before Jobs & Woz could go try to sell it, they HAD to let IBM have first crack at it... which we all know IBM passed LMAO. -Loki- |
Anyone who lets their little girl play with bratz is a bad parent.
|
I thought this had been settled in court a while ago and Mattel lost. My eight year old daughter used to love the Brats and I never saw the appeal.
This is stunning: The Bratz line, which debuted in 2001, is slated for recall and possible destruction in February unless U.S. District Judge Stephen G. Larson is swayed by further MGA arguments in the long-running copyright infringement case or an appeals court rules in MGA's favor. They are just going to close the line that is outselling Barbie? That's pretty stupid. |
