Hank III is the shit. I hung out with him many times years ago before he was getting much interest. Used to play at Roberts downtown a lot.

Its not really surprising lol. Our band was touring then and based out of Nashville, and we played every place there was to play downtown, and hung out at Roberts all the time back then. I've played keys on stage with Rascal flatts too, and knew them before they got signed. They used to be Deuces Wild. Bar I hang out at, and have for years has John Rich, Toby Keith, John Michael Montgomery, Mark Wills (Marks brother in law was our band manager for a year or two), shit load of others that come there to drink. Met and hung out with all of them, plus a lot more than that.
I have a bunch of good shit going on with my writing, but won't spill it here and jinx myself lol
