Fair price for an outsourced employee??
Whats the monthly going rate if you hire someone in a poor country and they know english, some html, no programming. I mean if I hire them directly, no agency.
|
What's fair price for a car?
|
Fair price is the price that you think is fair.
|
Ok, whats the lowest price I can pay and expect someone to really work 40 hours?

If you can find a proper person like this, they would cost around $500 at least in the Philippines. Other countries, no idea... |

Depends on the skills ... 5 - 8 dollars an hour.

The funny thing is, grunt work is nearly cheaper in the US/Western countries. PC's and internet access are certainly cheaper and you can find people stuck at home who are happy with the extra cash.
In poorer countries pc's and internet are expensive so penetration is low. Those who have access to them tend to be higher earners and better educated, so they're not interested in been a web monkey. |

If you hire them directly, and it is for adult work/adult-related work, you might still have to pay a premium. But it's definitely going to be cheaper than if you hired through a firm.
If anyone reading this is looking for a homebased data entry person (adult or non-adult) from the PHILIPPINES contact me and one of my partners will publicize your data entry position for FREE. My company doesn't do adult outsourcing or even most types of data entry, so your staffer won't come from us. This will be strictly direct hire. Expect to pay around $200 to $300 a month and make sure you discuss with them the legally mandated "13th month pay" when you're screening applicants. |

lets say the avg wage there is $3 hour. thats about $500 month but my experience is you never get full time work out of them. It might be better to find a college student locally to work part time for that. probably get more production.

We have a payout list that gives them a set fee for each task completed. So we're essentially Pay Per Task.

Hum, who knows

Well, I have a pretty good idea when it comes to Eastern Europe. HTML with some programming skills from a guy/girl with 2+ years of experience will cost 1200+ USD.
This hasn't always been the case but with the lower testing 1.30 against the EURO, I can tell you Europe is probably your worst option right now. |
Lowest price you can find is probably $160 a month (40hrs a week @ $1 an hour)
Good luck with them being able to do much in english though. |
mmm it depends what they are doing... I have like 4 people from other countries doing work for me but I pay them by project.. so I guess that way they end up earning a lot more than your average 3rd world dude...I haven't tried hiring someone full time tho...
