Newbie looking for some advice
 

Hi guys, I've been lurking here for quite some time. Despite some of the pessimistic post about how it's hard to run a successful adult site I decided to try a go at it anyways.

I managed to get a blog up at cuminandfuck[dot]me
I submitted my galleries to various sites and I'm starting to do some link trades.

I'm wondering what else I can do to help my site out.

If that blog is your first one, congrats.It look clean and ok and you chose a good idea to start up with blogs IMHO.
I was taking a look at your blog, and i saw that you use very little text.A good thing will be to use more text to help search enginee to be indexed.This is the first advice that i can offer you.The second one will be concerning that galleries that u post around there.I tend to use larger images as I find these convert best :thumbsup
Also u may need to keep the fresh content with regulary updates.Learn about SEO as much as you can.Learn and work everyday and your blog will grow up.:)

You have a very white template. You might consider investing in fancier one. You can modify one of the free ones from wordpress or one from templatemonster.com or perhaps a pre-made one from http://adultdesignevolution.com/blogthemes.php that are already adult ready.

Issue #2, you have a lot of pretty pictures and very little text. In fact some of your posts have like no text at all. Major major mistake. Graphics are great for surfers but without text that search engines like, you aren't going to be getting many of those surfers to admire your photos. Long story short, search engines love text, so start using more of it with each and every post.

Issue #3 What is FFM? Avoid using abbreviations or slang for categories unless it's really mainstream. You'll appreciate this advice later on when you get more into SEO. I will assume that FFM is short for female, female, male? If so use more common terms like threeway or threesome. Even orgy or gangbang - but FFM? No.

Issue # 4 - you seem to be a big fan of this "Club Sandy" and her photo sets but really you don't ever discuss who this Sandy is. If she's just some chick from a program who gives you free content, spread your wings my friend and get content from other sources. If your goal however is to just send your traffic to this single source then focus more on who this Sandy is. If she is a porn star then give her bio. Tell more about who Sandy is and that will help your promotion of her product (aka her website).

Issue # 4 - part b > I will tell you a little blog trick that works like a charm. Basically you need to have content to make your web surfers happy and you need text to make the search engines happy so here is something that will help. Every few posts, say maybe out of every 10 or so

Well first go setup an account with MallcomVOD.com. You want a webmaster account not a membership one. I think you may have to set that up by going to Mallcom.com. Anyway you can figure that one out. Now what you do and do this only with their VOD product, not the DVDs because with blogs, DVDs never seem to sale. At least not in my experience but with VODs this works great.

So anyway what you do is once you have your MallcomVOD account you pick out a movie at random from the ones they have available. Now you go write up a short description of that movie and also tell about some of the girls who star in the movie, and post the box cover of the movie as your image. This allows you to have a lot of text in a post and search engines love it. Now link directly to the movie and say like DOWNLOAD THIS DVD RIGHT NOW. Again link it directly to that specific DVD. This part is important. Linking directly helps improve sales rations GREATLY.

Now you have a mixture of content, more than one advertiser and even more importantly you've improved your traffic because now search engines will pick up on all that text on your posts and start sending you more traffic.

Definitely more text with each post. Make sure the text has words scattered throughout that relate to the title of the individual post.

Larger images is important too as LoveSandra mentioned. While the individual images popping open is attractive I think one big image linked to a hosted gallery might serve you better as well.

Also consider having one theme for the entire blog. Masturbation, lesbian and anal are pretty different niches. Focus in on one or even two to better target your traffic.

I suggest signing up for a Thunder-Ball.net account (it's free) to find some quality hard link trades.

As others said, nice looking site. A bit on the white side but you can deal with that.

From a surfers point of view, I have found another site with MORE than ehough content to jerk off to. Your giving away toooo much.

Out of those images, make the last X number go to the join page or tour page of the program you are selling. See how it goes. Increase the number or decrease it and see how sales go.

as for text. If you just want organic listings, yes you need more. if you want to work on the SEO and get listings, you can do it with the same amount. Just have to know how.

I agree... too many pics. I would also look into trying a few diverse sponsors to mix it up. You never know what type of customer may stumble upon your site...
