Looking for Affiliate Manager in LA
 

Searching for an affiliate manager with some experience in the LA area. Flat pay of 40k per year but excellent benefits such as matching 401k and medical/dental for ALL dependents. Please send your resume to kulio403 at gmail.com

Dude, are you talking about? He's offering 40k salary as an employee plus benefits, not 40k as a 1099 bitch.

People talk about how they pull in $50k+ in addition to commission as affiliate managers but most of those guys fill out 1099s, have to pay 30%+ in taxes (if they do pay taxes), and pay health insurance out of pocket (if they have health insurance) which can easily comes out to $5k a year.

2 problems:
1) who the fuck are you, and what is the company
2) not enough money

LOL a GOOD affiliate manager can make 3x that. I was an affilalate manager for 6 years and would not work for that

That might not be a lot in LA but it wouldn't be bad in Michigan. You could still do your own stuff to. Benefits would be great.

We're not looking for someone with a world of experience, hence "some experience". You don't have to come with your FAT rolodex, just some knowledge of affiliate programs and ad networks.

I understand 40k isn't a lot but with matching 401k (50% without ceiling) and full medical dental for ALL your dependents??? Surely there must be someone with 5 kids and a wife who's affected by the 9% unemployment rate.

if you dont have to have someone in house you can find a much wider talent pool who will telecommute and who will work for 40k + bennies

Living in Hawaii is no cheap trick either. It sounds like a good start for someone, especially if they got a fam. (universal healthcare please)
Curious to see what program its for though.

What a joke... 40k is a major insult.. Also 401k doesn't mean shit, however healthcare is nice since that might run someone $700+ a month.

To get anyone worth a shit, I'd think you will need to start at 30-40k + $1-2 per sale.

This might not be bad for a webmasters that already had a steady income of a few $k per month. I could only imagine trying to live on that amount there in LA..

In other states with much lower cost of living $40k wouldn't be a bad deal, especially for someone whom wasn't a newer affiliate manager.
