This is really fucking sad, 1950s pinup model Bettie Page dies in LA at 85...
 

LOS ANGELES ? Bettie Page, the 1950s secretary-turned-model whose controversial photographs in skimpy attire or none at all helped set the stage for the 1960s sexual revolution, died Thursday. She was 85.

Page suffered a heart attack last week in Los Angeles and never regained consciousness, her agent Mark Roesler said. Before the heart attack, Page had been hospitalized for three weeks with pneumonia.

rip bettie, she was smart to never show herself as she got older so it was like she was immortal.

I watched an interview with her once and she was behind a white screen in silhouette form, and you could tell she had gotten really heavy. I was incredibly curious, but I'm glad I will only have one image of her in my mind...

85 is not too bad :)

Oh wow! This makes me really sad. She was a legend.

It's so funny how you don't really think of her being that old because we don't see her age as a model. She's stuck in our heads at one point in her life and she'll never really be older than that.

The people that usually "find god" are either in prison, looking to replace one crutch for another, or mentally ill, so I would say there is a definite connection. She was also a lost soul that was molested by her dad, and Christian Missionaries are known to target those types...

this is completely false and only an assumption of idiots in the world who are just as sheep as people who follow religion to hardcore.

i once dated a girl who was a "born again christian" she used to do alot of hardcore drugs, etc etc. but her babies dads parents were pastors and turned her onto god and she totally changed her life and became a great mother, got a career and did a complete turn around.

she was never forceful with opinions and if it does help you to change your life then how can it be a bad thing?

someone who changes for good must be mentally and "targeted"?
