Reminds me of this time i cut my foot...
I was cooking sausage in my kitchen. Well it was a propane stove so there was open flame. I pressed the sausage patty i was cooking and the grease ended up igniting and flaring up. That made me jump back a little. Well we had recently cleaned around the refrigeratr and the bottom grill part that is on older models was off and sitting to the side, so basically there was metal pieces exposed... When i jumped back - my heel slid right on and over one of them... gashing it open immediatly... so quick and clean i wasnt sure it had happened, yet i grabbed my heel right away... so there i am with my heel in one hand and trying to keep the kitchen from burning down!!!
I got the flames to die down and set the pan to the side and let my hand off my heel just a little to look and it GUSHED ... was a pretty big cut and i ended up not walking for a couple days :P so from there i was hopping around on one foot to finish my breakfast :pimp

YOUCH!!!
A many years ago, I was selling sculptures of a mermaid I had sculpted and molded on ebay.
When a person would buy one, I'd have to build it and mount it to a base. To do that I had to drill a whole in the bottom of the sculpture to mount a bolt that would go thru the base. I'd hold the mermaid, which was about 1/5 scale, in one hand and drill with the other.
I did this a dozen times and never had a problem. Then one time, the drill which was like a 3/4" drill (it was the largest sized drill bit that would fit into my drill motor) hit a soft spot in the resin casting and broke thru the side of the mermaid instead of going into her.
My hand was no match for the drill, I drilled into my hand at the base of the index and ring finger. I severed both digital nerves at the base of my hand and drilled into the bone of my index finger. The digital nerve was hanging out of my hand. Looked like little strips of bloody floss.
To this day I still don't have feeling on the side of my index and middle fingers of my left hand.
It actually happened either just before or right after I joined GFY. I remember taking pictures of it. Not sure if I ever posted them or where the went.
