Digging Google Chrome

Been playing around w/ Google Chrome on my XP machines and really like it. Loads quickly, displays pages quickly and properly. Slick browser. FF still first, Chrome 2nd, IE a distant 8th.

yea same im loving it

cheekycherry 12-14-2008 02:16 AM

I use Chrome as my primary browser now.

Love it. Not perfect, but VERY good.

pamon 12-14-2008 02:53 AM

needs 3rd party additions and plugins such as adsense but flash and other scripts run great. FF is just way too much of a memory hog and chrome is slick.

agreed on every point

Chrome is great. Just needs some 3rd party add-ons...

CyberHustler 12-14-2008 02:53 PM

I fucks with Chrome...

Bama 12-14-2008 02:59 PM

No file menu, no status bar, no navigational icons...

Not usable!

I agree with the addons thing. There are 3-4 must have addons for FF that, if ported over to Chrome, would make me officially switch.

quantum-x 12-14-2008 03:20 PM

Chrome is slick as fuck.

For coding / debugging, if you've not tried MaxThon2, it's incredible.
Every single power user setting and tweak is built in - from a built in 'screen cap the entire page' to http debugging etc..

All the reasons why I love it.
There are many many options for people who want all of these (FF, IE, Opera, SeaMonkey, Maxthon)

Chrome just caters for a different audience:)

scarlettcontent 12-14-2008 05:42 PM
