Anybody understand Pagerank??

I just changed my main page but i was careful to not remove any of the text, what i did do is move it lower on the page, would that cause a SE to read it differently especially google?
Ive noticed a dip in search engine traffic and my pr went from 2 to 1??? Is it my links???

you can change you page just get put it back the tags to your new pages so the SE rank will still in

I've noticed when I've done similar edits to my home page that it'll move my site to a lower Google page for a while and then would slowly make it back up. Of course all cases are different. It is recommended to put your most Google important info toward the top so that could of made a difference; doesn't take much for the finicky Google move you down in the rankings.

Google reads the page EXACTLY like you do. Or so it's said. Top to bottom, left to right. If you make a CHANGE IT WILL effect your listings in google. How long, how low or high only google knows. I have seen them drop 1 to 10 spots for 24 hours and go right back. I have seen them go up and I have seen them not move at all. And lastly I have seen them put in the sandbox for 90 days.

:thumbsup

Just worry about designing your site and let google do the rest. I agree PR isn't that important.
