The US government have so far handed out $117 000 000 000 to rebuild Iraq.
The money has been given to politicians, local clans, religious leaders and local companies with no oversight. They give the money for a project and hope for the best.

Well, estimations are that it does cost about 300 mil. USD a day.
Of course this number means total operational costs.

The correct question is, how to make the money back?

Definitely not by withdrawing all the forces and handling all the power to the unstable government.

Hrm couldnt we just gave each citizen there a chunk of cash instead and a few American mail order catalogs. I am pretty sure they wouldnt hate us as much if we did. Well they may now as our money is kind of worthless but it would be less hate.

i've been saying this all along, fuck humanitarian aid and cash handouts, these iraqis don't know what they're missing. i'd too would be frustrated as fuck and shooting at hummers if i wasn't allowed to shoot my load or get drunk.

Don't kid yourself. A lot of that money is expected to go right back and hire companies whose prime beneficiaries are the same crooks that allocated the funds to begin with.. ie. Bush cronies
