Muslim Man Sues British Store for Making Him Carry Alcohol
 

What a fucken woos. A Muslim man is suing a British supermarket for religious discrimination after the store allegedly made him carry alcohol despite the fact that doing so is against his religion, the U.K.'s Daily Mail reported Monday.
He told an employment tribunal that he was forced to leave his job after eight months because handling alcoholic beverages violates his Islamic beliefs and that he was ?victimized? when he asked the Tesco grocery store for a different job.
Ahmed said he was told to ?do the job or go home,? by a supervisor when he asked for different work, and claimed that he did not know the job involved handling beer, wine and spirits when he started last September.
You work in the supermarket and saw other people do similar work I am sure. I say don't take the job if you don't want to do the job like everyone else. What he is so special now ?

I'm no religion expert, but I don't think it is against muslim religion to "carry" alcohol. I think there a difference between drinking and carrying.

This freedom of religion shit is getting truly ridiculous. I think we should all start a new religion, call it CAPITALISM. When they sue us for violatiing their religious beliefs we countersue them for violating ours. It's against the religion of capitalism to employ fuckers who whine about the job they're getting paid to do.

Perhaps the manager could have tried to reassign this person, if it was even possible, but expecting the manager to do so is a little out of line. A job is a job, if it goes against your religion or your personal beliefs, you need to walk away and find work elsewhere.

Can you imagine a pro-life activist suing an abortion clinic after being their secretary for a year? That's what the job is... you either do it or you don't...

Let me get this straight, this man could not perform basic duties of his job, so he is fucking suing the employer? What a load of shit. This guy needs to jihad himself for touching alcohol and being so fucking stupid.

They tried pulling the same stunt last year with taxicabs in New York...they were complaining that some customers would come into their cabs carrying bottles of wine that they had bought from the store (unopened and in a bag).

IMO if they don't want to do their job then they can either quit or start their own store / cab service that doesn't allow/sell alcohol.
