Fishers Island Club Golf Links - New York Burning Tree Golf Club - Maryland Seminole Golf Club - Florida Los Angeles Country Club - L.A. Crystal Downs - Michigan |
Ive never golfed at anyplace with high ratings - but id say Salmon Run in Brookings Oregon is the nicest, funnest and most challenging course I've been to.
This one i went to last week is probably the longest Ive been to. Some new course out her called The Centennial. WAY OPEN and long drives!!! Lots of sand too... |
My favorite golf course in the entire fucking world is City Park Nine in Ft. Collins, Colorado USA......... for it was there I once shot a 50. It was hands down the greatest moment of my life.

Anything in S. Arizona this time of year is basically the best in the Country right now. Grass and most trees are green, weather is nice and the sun is almost always out. Between Phoenix and Tucson you have 200+ PUBLIC courses to play, some of the hardest and expensive in the Country to super easy and cheap for old people.
I play on the local college course that is a total pain in the ass or this little par 3/4 in town that is super cheap and fun to play. Otherwise south of Tucson in Green Valley, they have the Conoa's, the last one is hellish hard and very under rated.. geo carts too, sweet course. |
thanks for the arizona info and thanks others for your recommendations
looking forward knowing most of these courts someday hehe |
If in the NY area, the West Point course really is great. It isnt very hard, but the upkeep is nothing you will see unless you are on a 150k/yr private course. Kinda hard to get on though. But worth it! I can list like 20 great courses, I was lucky enough to play about 40 different courses this past season...sigh and winter is here :(
