Common sense that is apparently not so common. :disgust

That's funny, especially with the endless amount of misspellings on this forum, and the internet in general, and the ignorance on the correct use of their, there, and they're.... among countless other examples, and the double and triple negatives in a single sentence...

Priceless.

What are the Friday night chats?

Is that some site where WM's cry in their beers?

Ryan St. Germain 12-20-2008 04:21 PM

They are consistant with last year for me, as far as the percentage of rise and fall. I split one project into three, but adding their sales back together, I'm doing better than last year.

December is always a strange month of spurts (at least from where you are talking about), so you have to average it out as a month, or it'll look discouraging at times.

True dat.

I had to go to my Tony404 tactics to jump start the sales, and get them pulling out the cards again.
:winkwink:

It's hosted by clips4sale as a general way of putting heads together for traffic and whatnot. It's all clips producers and a couple of the guys that work for c4s. You can find the links in the new admin, which will tell you when it takes place.

It's probably a decent resource for the average sort of "amateur" producers. There are a lot of very basic questions, and a lot of people that seem to know all the answers, despite the fact that their suggestions have managed to accomplish nothing for them personally. Sort of typical of most webmaster meetings in that regard.

Ah ok. That explains it. I do not use the new admin panel. I have logged into it a few times, but I still prefer the ease of use on the old one for me personally. A lot of those new add-ons, like the preview clips, I do not use.

However... sounds like.. from your explanation... basically listening to some of the seminars at the conferences where the know-it-alls sit up on the panel and speak down the to common folk and waifs.

I use the new admin sometimes because you can upload thumbnails right in the clip add screen, and I like being able to choose the featured clips that appear at the top. Other than that, I don't use it much.

Well, there isn't really a board or a panel...it's more like everyone talking at once....If you go to one, go toward the end, when you can actually have a constructive conversation with the people that work there.
My favorite quote " People still use ICQ? Hasn't everyone moved on to AOL or Yahoo by now?!"

What you are describing sounds more like comedy. You see some combination of that type of... everyone knows everything, big ballas, people who talk or yell over you, those who do not listen, and people who are never satisfied complaining about nickel and dime shit.

Oh, it's comedy. Have I mentioned that there are webcams involved too?

...in my younger days, we would try to construct triple or quadruple negatives. I'm not really sure why, now that I think about it...lol.

Anyway, you're comment was hilarious in itself and very accurate as well.

But, I don't know nothing 'bout nothing sometimes.
