Mojito vs Cuba Libre
Rum, Rum, Rum....
16 men on a dead man's chest, Yo ho, ho, and a bottle of rum, Drink till the Devils done the rest, Yo ho, ho, and a bottle of rum... One of my favorite songs. Do you like a Mojito with mint and soda or Cuba Libre with Coke and Lime? The Devil lies in the details. Tell me the truth. Me.....Meyer's Rum, Coke and Lime.....Lots of Rum.:thumbsup |
Mojito for sure. Was drinking it all the time when I was in Cuba. Nobody wanted the mint herb that's in it so I volunteered to have it all. It's awsome. Cuba libre is just rum and coke

Every time I'm in Cuba, it's a rule that we have a Mojito in our hands within 1 hour of being on the ground or nobody is allowed to have girls that night. |
Mojito.

If I only have those options, mojito . . . . if hand made.

Cuba Libre ...

Mojito all the way
|
Mojitos for me

Cuba Libre!!!! Viva Fidel!! (?)
|
Mojito!!

Just depends on where you're at when you order one. Here in Puerto Rico they do both of them right. If you were in Minnesota or something you'd be better off getting a Cuba Libre because its harder to fuck up.

someone please enlighten me? |
I've gotta try a mojito one of these days. I've got no complaints about rum and coke though.

If the Cuba Libre is done like they do in Central America, with half soda, half coke, or even just just watered down fountain coke, and a little lime, then I vote Cuba Libre for every day drinking.
If it's a hot sunny day... a well made Mojito is pretty damn nice. They both have their time and place. My new favorite rum for these is Angostura 1919. http://www.thedrinkshop.com/images/p.../3338/3338.jpg |
I love rum
|
Mojito, but I love the name of Cuba libre
