NEW YORK -- Fast food chain Burger King has released a new body spray for men that, according to its Web site, is "the scent of seduction with a hint of flame-broiled mean."

The body spray, called "Flame," is being sold a Rickey's -- a New York City retailer -- and on the Web for a mere $4.00 per bottle.

"Flame by BK captures the essence of that love and gives it to you. Behold... now you can set the mood for whatever you're in the mood for," the Burger King site proclaims.

Sounds like another viral marketing concept by Crispin Porter + Bogusky.

The stupidest idea I have ever heard. There is no brand synergy between burgers and cologne.

But, a viral marketing idea might make sense.

Viral Marketing at its best. That story has been posted all over, talked about on every news channel, they even had that on CNN. Advertising you couldn't buy any other way. I'm sure a lot of people are buying that just as a gag gift for someone. Brilliant marketing idea from Burger King.

I was gonna say spray it down your pants and say "I got your flame broiled WHOPPER right here baby" But you might get attacked by some wild cats or dogs.

Getting kind of tired of their stupid attempts at "Viral" marketing.. first it was that they wouldn't be making any more Whoppers. Now this? This just looks desperate.
