i don't want to rain on your parade but there have been webcams that a web surfer can remotely move around for a long time. There was even a live camgirl site that had it, like in 97.

i've also seen beach cams, hotel cams with the same thing.

ok we'll look tomorrow at yours i guess, maybe it's different.

It trancodes REALTIME to Mpeg1(color) including sound.
That way you:
1 - Stream in moviequality
2 - Can use the files as a archive, without having to edit it first
