Once it's cured you should be fine.
|
Yes it will be fine, you don't want it in an area where chunks could flake off and get in food obviously, but it cures within minutes on the outside, and fully cured within a few hours.

I used that expanding foam shit everywhere in our house, it rocks...it did away with our mouse problem and stopped a lot of drafts from coming from the basement as well. once it is hardened it doesn't flake or anything
|
You should be fine using that. Keep ion mind though that if there is any outlets anywhere close to the areas you plan on filling you should first make sure they are sealed good as you do not want to fill up the inside of the electrical boxes with that stuff.

I think youll be fine.

thanks going to go out and buy some more the shit I found is expired.

Rule #1 when using that shit -- be away from any electrical appliances, especially if they're plugged in.
I learned that the hard way... fortunately there was a fire extinguisher nearby. It uses extremely flamable gas to expand the foam. But yeah, you're cool with using it everywhere. I used it yesterday to seal a big ass draft hole from the basement. |
