In todays market if you have good traffic....

What are you looking for in a sponsor...

Highest PPS?
Good Rev Share and consistancy?
Prepaid deals?

Are you looking for long terms partners or big bucks right now?

As a sponsor program who's been buying a shitload of traffic I'd like to know what tickles you???

Voodoo 12-30-2008 07:23 PM

Long Term ALWAYS. Those who want big bucks right now, are going to die off soon. :)

d-null 12-30-2008 07:25 PM

I avoid pps when possible and mostly stick with revshare

WarChild 12-30-2008 07:25 PM

I'm all about the bottom line.

What I hate is when someone wants me to move from a sponsor I'm already using and try their stuff instead. The following conversation is typical:

REP: Hey man, you're doing good with (insert niche site), you should really try (insert their site)

ME: Well that site already converts me 1:500, so I'm a little skeptical.

REP: 1:500? Ours will sell better than that for sure.

ME: How about you put your money where your mouth is then? If I change and it DOESN'T convert, you credit me to 1:500 same as the other site.

I've always been a revhare guy. That way I can take time off or retire, and still have a year or 2 worth of sales to sustain me. I used to like PPS when I first got in the business 10 years ago, but if you choose the right programs that convert and retain, the PPC is always worth more when revshare is chosen.

I've used this before and was surprised to find a couple companies are willing to do ratio matching if you can prove your stats w/ the other program. I think it should be standard practice for programs who are looking for new traffic.

BAKO 12-30-2008 08:05 PM

1) Highest PPS
2) Pre Paid Deals
3) Webmaster Support
4) Great Creatives made super fast
==========$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for me ;)

"Are you looking for long terms partners or big bucks right now?"

- what kind of business could survive without both? I guess the "right now" part is rather obnoxious to expect.

-
I'd state my desires as this: A solid business relationship ... based on the ability to generate big bucks consistently for a long period of time.

i go 1 step further

"okay, ill change links tonight, not only do i want you to convert the same as these people here, but seeing you are so sure that youll do better, i want to make the same money with the same amount of traffic + 10%, with NO MIN PAYOUT. that way i can send you the same amount of traffic, and i know ill make more and it will be worth me pulling my links and leaving them or having to change them back if it dont work out. and if at the end of this its profit for both of us we can continue"

how i went with camazoncash and why im still with loadedcash today.

I only do revshare although I've tried PPS. I just always had this annoying feeling when I did PPS that that buyer is going to stay a member of the site for 10 years and I could have been making all that money. So, RevShare it is.

I also look for sites that update at least once per week.

I won't promote a site that has any pre-checked cross-sale no matter where they place it. Pre-checked. Any un-checked x-sale is fine by me. I have nothing to substantiate this but it's my thought that surfers actually remember where they found a paysite they joined. If they joined and got fucked, they're not going to come back to your site and look for more sites to join. Heck, they may not come back to any paysite ever. But, if you sent them to a nice site....it doesn't even have to be the greatest paysite ever....just some site they joined and didn't get fucked and got to see the girl they joined for get fucked, then, they'll come back to your traffic source to find more sites like it.

Personally, I like CCBill sites as they convert better for me. In the interest of full disclosure, my paysite is on CCBill so I'm a bit partial.

I look for smaller, more personal sites as I feel they retain better than the flashy sites that update with whatever content they happened to shoot or find or buy. I like a site with a personality. An added bonus with these sites is that their content is typically not found on all the tube sites which makes conversions better.

This probably goes without saying but I need fhg's. No fhg's, no go. There are still a couple sites I've run into that don't offer any.

Phoenix 12-31-2008 07:03 AM

how about not being mouthed off to by reps?

being told that my joins arent that big

and how about not holding money for 6 weeks.

not talking about you guys jman...just saying...there are some companies out there that do whatever the fuck they want...i cant believe they get any joins at all

seeandsee 12-31-2008 07:05 AM

pre paid sales

Jman 12-31-2008 04:44 PM

Thanks for all your 2 cents guys, much appreciated...

Last post of 2008... See you all in the next year ;-)

bdld 12-31-2008 04:47 PM

i always try revshare first and see how it goes, then either switch to pps or drop them.

AmeliaG 12-31-2008 04:59 PM

Solid consistent long-term revshare on sites I know my surfers will actually enjoy, preferably from programs which also send to SpookyCash.
