the last 6 months i have heard countless people complain about and propose solutions to taking down the tube sites. Face it, its a new technology that is not going away. may as well be a typewriter company figuing out how they can stop the personal computer.

so is is smart to aim your business goals toward the characteristics of the net in 10 years? what will be there?

as far as content goes, it will be simple to archive it in the future and i think that in the past year or less, we have seem tube sites dilute the perceived value of everyday, nonexclusive porn.

what? illegal tube sites will be shut down, it will be mainstream that will make it happen and the laws applied to adult but as states and federal gov is losing billions due to software, music, movie theft laws will be passed and passed soon

Agreed. This year should mark desparate changes. As the economy worsens the govt will be pressured by companies losing BILLIONS to piracy and theft to act.

yea, i think there will be some fix for stealing content, but im not talking about illegal tube sites. im talking about tube sites that get (real) amateur content uploaded to them, the tube sites that offer purchased dvd content, etc.

really the concept of the pipes being opened so that it became cost effecient to deliver adult content to the masses. the content on those illegal sites is good enough for a sizable portion of previous/potential customers.

here's are my 50 cents guesses:

IPTV with 100Mbit to 1+Gbit connections build in to many standard electronics like: Phones, tv's, cameras, mp3 players, dvdplayers, etc.

Holographic dating & webcam sex and 3D touch screens (with extra nanobot orgasm excellerators/replicators)

Voice & touch controlled pc's/electronics (maybe even mind controlled)

Fingerprint & iris scan payment systems that do monthly consolidated billing

Cristal, holographic and organic drives that store so many Petabytes it will make the current 1 TB drives look like a 3.5 floppy disc :)

Focus on doing your job 10% better then the competition and giving people 10% more than they expected. That will ensure you a profitable business, as long as you have customers.
