But let's be honest here... although I never did biz with him, I'd surely trust him. You can just see it, he's not the person to ripp anyone off. So who'd you rather trust? He does this when he's not buying servers then accusing the host of ripping him off and then offering several contradictory excuses for his actions within a few hours.

Isn't baddog's business based on straight up reselling/being a middleman for other people's stuff? I checked out that SexPicturesPass program a long time ago. If I remember correctly, it was paying out $20 to webmasters while collecting $25 (maybe more for bulk) from Flynt Digital on a fixed upsell (i.e. there was no way of unchecking it). It seemed that the profit just came from taking advantage of the $5 difference (plus any exit consoles and member area upsells that might have existed). 2 minutes investigation and it was pretty clear to see what was going on, and that's fine... but as a webma$tah I'd like to get as close to the source and cut out as many middlemen as possible... so in that case I'd rather upsell Flynt Digital by myself than do it through baddog.

I've seen him mention his hosting co on this board but never checked it out. If the hosting co is a middleman for a larger host, it shouldn't be so difficult to find out. In that case, if I were considering using his service, I'd do my research beforehand and then go straight to the source, if one exists.

On a sidenote, I'm currently making some nice cash reselling mainstream tangiable products myself, so middlemen aren't always a bad thing. It depends which side of the business you're on. :2 cents:

Yes, this is true and can be applied to any number of situations - when was the last time you got milk straight from the cow and so on. It is clear that most retail businesses are simply resellers. As for the opinion that middlemen are bad, we all know that it depends upon which side of the transaction you are on, that's business.

Retox Josh is on my ignore list. I can't remember why I put him there.....but GFY is full of trolls and idiots and you have to be a special kind of annoying troll for me to put you on my ignore list. There are only about 5 people on there and AlienQ and Paul Markham and Spacedog ARE NOT on it, so in my book Retox Josh is at least one level worse than those three.

I do business with baddog, not a ton of business but I spend more with him than 90% of GFY posters make in a month online, and he's always been above board and delivered what was promised, on time or early.
