Why do customers get so crazy sometimes?
 

The best way for you to get shitty customer service from us is to say something like this in your e-mail...

"Where the fuck are my dvds? This shit fuckin sucks, never doing business with you guys ever again dumb fucks. Are you going to ever send them or what?"

Turns out this guy typed in the wrong address when he ordered and they got lost in the mail as a result, never came back to us. We were very nice to him and are even sending him out another package at our expense but I put him at the very back of the customer service line.

Here is the reason why people get mad at least 90% of the time. People are taking a leap of faith when joining an adult site. They expect things to work, and they want their product served up right. When even the slightest thing goes wrong, they think they have been had. Then they blow up your email with all types of profanity and threats. Meanwhile, he just typed in the wrong password. In short, if adult didnt develop such a sleazy reputation for it's billing practices back in the mid 90's which made headline news, there wouldnt be that stigma, nor the worry of being had. But what do people in this business do? Turn around some 10 years later and start carding people. So yea, I can see why customers need to be coddled a little more in this day and age. It's part of the game when you actually give a shit about your member base.

Also look at the product you are selling. If you were selling baby powder to 40 year old mothers I'm sure you would get different replies :1orglaugh

Yeah. I'd definitely say a lot of it is based on your particular product and target audience.
