I don't think I'll ever get to 10,000 -- in fact, I'm pretty suspicious of anybody who's there who hasn't been on the boards for a few years. Most of the people whose posts get my full attention have been here longer than me and have a smaller post count.

I agree, I dont understand how people make over 10,000 posts in less than a couple of years and still claim to actually work in the adult industry. Sig whoring isnt working in the biz :2 cents:

there are alot of hours in the day you know, I am on my computer usually 14 hours a day, sometimes even more, making a few dozen thoughtful posts per day is nothing and only takes an hour or two maybe, but I tend to check in every once in a while and post when something interests me, so it is not like staying on here for 4 hours straight, more like 5 minutes here and 5 minutes there and so on throughout the day

it's not like it takes much dedication to the forum to participate and post :2 cents:

sig whoring in itself is lame, but posting thoughtful conversation and participating in the forum in a big way helps keep this place rolling along

Low post count is it's own reward.

I don't give a toss about my post count or color (or anybody else's for that matter) and whilst I agree with the original poster that length of time registered is a better benchmark than how many times somebody has said "bump" etc, the true value of a poster's opinion is in what they actually say.

It seems to be getting harder and harder to find interesting or informative threads between the dramas and the bullshits.

Reality is that anybody with more than 100 posts in a week has too much time on their hands.......or too much opinion. :winkwink:

Very good points. I think the worst are those who you only see point in contest threads. When that list comes out every month of top posters, most of those top guys I haven't seen one post from (sorry I usually stay out of any kind of contest thread).

Sometimes I wonder if people are actually to lazy to even reply, because I know for a fact that everyone has an opinion, not everyone posts however, but having a low postcount doesn't make your posts any more important or relevant. It just means you didn't take the time to respond. :2 cents:

well said, posting well thought out posts on this forum are what makes this place interesting, if all people only posted once or twice a year it would be a pretty boring place :2 cents:

I think it would be cool to have a special color that verifies you are really in this business. And that would require that you actually own an adult website. No SEO, programmers, and the like could have that color. Just a way to know who has "skin in the game" so to speak. I measure the words of people I know have real life experience in this business far more than the one liners from the post whores.
