1 million UV

O.K i got 3 sites which generate over 1 million unique visitors per month, non are monetized, but my server bills are costing me nearly 1k a month so i need to monetize them, the question is.......how much i could i earn from these porn hungry visitors each month and any suggestions would be good.......Thanks !

spacedog 01-04-2009 08:42 PM

why would anyone build that kind of traffic for a site that isn't monetized?

There's too many answers to your question.

You could promote affiliate programs.
You can sell ads.. see sig to add your sites and sell spots :thumbsup

lacuna 01-04-2009 10:58 PM

Ah, they're worthless... I'll take 'em off your hands for $50.

(I should have such problems...) :)

lacuna 01-04-2009 11:21 PM

Seriously though -- sell ad space. I do great with these guys:

Good luck:thumbsup

Either Ad Brite/Blacklabel like Lacuna Suggested or AdultAdWorld are good for selling ad space.

Sell traffic for 5$ per 1k. If you will sell 50% of 1 million (500k) it will bring you ~2500$. Minus 1000$ for hosting - and you'll have ~1500$. ;)

Redirect low spending countries to trafficholder.com and set AdultFriendFinder.com flash ads and thumb ads on Your sites and You'll get high conversion (with US,UK,DE,CA,... traffic) and great payouts (100$ PayPerSales or revshare).

I'm sorry to be so harsh but geez guys can we please stop for a moment stop promoting our own self interests and maybe try and actually help the guy out?

I think it odd that nobody even asked what kind of traffic you have or where it is coming from because the answer to those two questions will greatly determine the answer of what you should do with it.

So let me begin ...... where are you getting this traffic from?

For example, I run a porn star site dedicated to porn star Christy Canyon, that more than 85% of the traffic comes from Google.

So although my traffic is high quality search engine traffic, it's also all very specific porn star traffic so trying to sell it off to a dating site (as an example) wouldn't really be as productive as trying to sell it off to like a site that sales her movies. In fact with the right product I can get my sales ratios down below 1:100, but that is because I have quality search engine traffic and I've focused my monetization efforts on a product specific to my market.

And this is what I suggest for you.

If you have let's say all Brazilian traffic, looking specifically for blondes with big tits, you should look for an affiliate program to promote that offers that specialty.

Understand what I am saying?
