My first time with Adobe Illustrator and here is what I created. Created a poster for my website.

Thanks! I was expecting to be harder considering I've never used it before, but it has a lot of the same type features has Photoshop.

nice effort but that's nothing man, i just created this in ms paint on a windows 95 machine, took me just under 3 minutes.

:1orglaugh That is pretty good - but for a bigger challenge you should try using a C64 with The Print Shop - creates some awesome images!

I was a bit disapointed about the latest version of The Print Shop, so I just switched back to Koala Painter http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KoalaPad/Painter :thumbsup

Awesome job for the first time. Illustrator is the next program I want to learn.

I highly recommend lynda.com for excellent tutorials. You have to pay a monthly or yearly fee but it is so worth it. They have tutorials for just about every software program.

Yes, it is very different, but uses the same logic and work flow.
