I just started a blog where I offer free design related video tutorials.. Since making design tutorials can be so freaking boring and redundant, I wanted to take a more unique approach and cover things differently and hopefully establish something with viral potential..

I'm not exactly sure if what I've done here is just excessively tasteless, entertaining in a dark way, or just plain fucking stupid and not worth watching... So help me out, you be the judge...

I am watching it now (only 5 minutes in so far) - its quite entertaining and I am actually learning something - so thanks ... not so sure that I will ever have a need for a douchebag design - but then again you never know :thumbsup I can see this as the sort of video that could easily go viral!

thanks.. the point of course is to learn how it was designed, and if you understand and know how, it will enable you to design thousands of other objects using the same exact process and techniques :)

i was thinking how great you name your layers too :) then 14 mins in the tutorial u start looking around which one is which guessing your way :) lolz

screw naming layers when I'm trying to get done with a god forsaken tutorial. ;)

btw you can enlarge and reduce the size of the brushes using [ ]

With Photoshop and Illustrator in the same pacakge, people actually still use Fireworks?

I used to use Photoshop for web design until I realized Fireworks is perfect for it where Photoshop falls short.
