Find out all the domains a person owns?

I want to find out about all the domains a person owns by searching for a name in the reg. info. I already know about domainstools.com but they're too expensive. Anyone know a site with the same service?

tranza 01-08-2009 01:05 PM

How much is domainstools??????

Domain tools using whois paramater to find which domains are owned by person. If owner have domains on private or different whois info for each domain it wont help then.

Doesn't seem to be. It said one of my sites is hosted on the same server as sites owned by Microsoft... :1orglaugh

Reverse ip lookup is different thing, with that you can check what domains are hosted on ip.But that doesnt mean all domains belong to same owner.

I think I need to buy a membership ~25/month, and then pay for the report I wanted. And the report cost $404. And I dont even know if it's the right owner Im looking at. :P

So that answers his question how?

Drop me a msg, I might be able to help.

seeric 01-08-2009 04:46 PM

exactly how would a reverse ip lookup help you?

i've got over 1000 domains just for me, not even our companies names, and they're spread across tons of hosts. most are domain by proxy as well.

reverse ip is only going to tell you what is on one box, and if its a shared server you will see everyone elses domains as well as the person that you're looking into.

Ya it left off about 40 of the domains I own and many of them I have owned for over 10 years so it's pretty inaccurate.

reverse ip will tell nothing other than the domains that are given a PTR record, which most hosts dont do.

think mojohost does, but thats all i know of.

still even if its shared, you will only be able to see the original PTR record, unless they add for each domain which I have never see happened.

Hunt out his/her sites with his/her ref code.

Its a lot easier then it sounds.

fris 01-08-2009 05:15 PM

I do know if you have a versign global registry account you can view all the domains by nameserver.

ex. ns1.webhost1.com

you can see every domain that is hosted on the nameservers, and so on, for every nameserver registered in the .com and .net registry

I cant believe how bad the data is - apparently I still own some domains that I sold 6 years ago, but there are about 50 missing from recent years - total crap!

uno 01-09-2009 03:30 AM

NetSol had this feature for free a long long time ago.

sex69 01-09-2009 03:37 AM

ref code will give you extra results.
