Yep - that is www.removeyourcontent.com
I'm about to include them in my recommendation and documentation all my clients get

As a potential customer I see them as the first pick for 3 reasons
1 - They are alive and answer your emails fast
2 - They are proactive
3 - They are not selling you a "box product" - they are securing your content

++ They are Aussies

RedShoe's fake nick 01-09-2009 07:06 AM

ooh ooh pick me. PICK ME!!!

I asked them for a quote, they replied that they needed a list of all my clients before they could give me a price - and I told them to forget it. No way in HELL I will ever give anyone a list of my clients.

What pisses me of, is all the sales bullshit that let me to recommend them in the first place, and then when the work have to be done, they start shit like this.

My recommendations for my clients and anyone else:

1 - Contact someone who deals with internet law(google it)
2 - Pay them to make you a dmca takedown notice draft, where you just fill in the blanks
3 - If the dmca takedown notice dont result in the content being removed, then you pay the person that made you the draft, to take it to the next level.

It have worked well for me.
I use a Danish company called "Plesner" http://www.plesner.com

cem 02-15-2009 07:09 AM

There's protectyon.com - but went mainstream.

stickyfingerz 02-15-2009 07:52 AM

Ya even though me and Aussie used to hate each other RemoveMyContent.com I've only heard good things about.

Mutt 02-15-2009 08:23 AM

i know lots of people using RemoveYourContent and they are very happy with the results - they remove a ton of content. it's still a spit in the ocean but for the price it beats doing the same thing for yourself.

Michelle69 02-15-2009 08:23 AM

ebus, thanks for the info. I heared a lot good things too, but from nobody that actually has used their service.... anybody did so far?

SteveHardeman 02-15-2009 09:17 AM

I use RYC and I have several program owner friends who use them. They are EXCELLENT. I don't know any other companies who offer this service and to be honest, I don't care if there are any others. They do THAT great of a job.

ebus, this is purely speculation on my part but I think they have so much business now that they pick and choose their clients. I THINK they had to drop some clients who were hiring them to remove their content but at the same time running tubes with other client's content on them. Again, purely speculation. But, that's my guess as to why they wanted your client list.

Michelle69 02-15-2009 03:20 PM

thats the info I was looking for! THANKS!

JD 02-15-2009 03:37 PM

RYC isn't taking any new clients btw

So you have a super secret list of clients.... Don't we all...
How are they supposed to give you a price quote???
Think about it...

To quote a price you would have to have some idea of the following:
Web Content or DVD (or both)
Domains
Approx number of scenes
Is content watermarked? How can the scenes be identified as yours?

We use Remove Your Content and got a quote very quickly after supplying some basic information. They have successfully killed many pirated videos of ours.

Sam Granger 02-15-2009 04:11 PM

I'm working on a free one - basically you have a dash with found results linked with your keywords, if links are still up and a quick notification link. Got a beta version working, need to work some more on it though.

Michelle69 02-15-2009 04:38 PM

sounds interesting, let me know once its up and running :-)

Will do. Have to try and optimize it all atm. Been quite a big project for me.

Michelle69 02-15-2009 05:09 PM

if you need another beta tester, I'll be at your disposal :-)

shunga 02-15-2009 05:53 PM

I've been using RYC for months and their work has been exemplary.

I'm a contractor. When I ask for a specific detailed quote for customerX, they sure as HELL don't need to know who my other customers are. They can give me the quote from the details regarding the specific customer that was included in the request

I use RYC, they are a great service and Eric has a great attitude. Im a little mom pop and Eric will always take time to answer my questions. Some of the new things they are working on are going to make them a essential tool for the online content producer.

Rico Shades 02-15-2009 08:29 PM

Good info but if they aren't taking more clients well....

Robbie 02-15-2009 08:51 PM

They ARE taking new clients. But not accepting everybody right now. They have had so many clients and so much work that they are simply retooling and are still accepting some major clients and will be taking on more of us "normal" sized guys again very shortly.

RemoveYourContent is one of the best services I've ever paid for in this business.

Eric is pretty damn thorough and even goes in and dmca's google and gets links to the shit on google removed. Nobody can keep up 100% with the sheer volume of content theft going on. But removeyourcontent minimalizes it's effect and restores your ability to make a sale on your paysite again.

Aussie Rebel 02-15-2009 08:54 PM

Thank You to everyone that posted positive comments about us:thumbsup

We are taking new clients again, we had to reorganize our operations
, thus, why we stopped taking new clients for a couple of weeks, But we are definitely taking new clients.

ebus_dk no offense mate but it's hard to quote on sites if we don't know who they are... especially given the problems with pirates and hackers we deal with daily.

Thanks Sticky:thumbsup

I offer the automated spiders that will crawl around the web looking for your content. They will never get tired unlike humans, and you are notified instantly, the moment, someone uploads your content.

Its all good man. Opposite of what some people might think of me Id much rather choose to be friends with people than enemies. And Im always ready to give credit where its due. You and I are on the same page about stopping content theft, so thats a very good thing. :thumbsup
