I am a Placebo fan (though they haven't done much in a long time) and the Suede fans were about at the same peak time and appeared to have pretty much the same level of interests...not least in black hair dye.

I was more into the Stone Roses, the Charlatans had a few good tunes but Tim Burgess was just a wanna be Ian Brown.

Now I am going through all their songs on Youtube and was enjoying it until I got to 'The Drowners' and some kid said 'ah, retro!'..pah!
