Onto the thread title, when there is a serious drama thread why are there so many "see sig" and "sig spots". I mean I guess people figure drama = page views and page views = exposure. Though seriously when you are reading a drama thread how often you do check out a sig, or are you reading and scrolling quickly to next reply with no intention of even leaving the thread and most everything else does not even register?

Wouldn't it make more sense to post a see sig style post in like a very boring thread like this one? You would have a better chance of someone getting bored and checking it out or at least having it register in their head.

Actually come to think of it and assuming your sig file still registers in someones head in a drama thread. They did not consciously read it but still saw it. Couldn't that be a bad thing as well since they could by accident associate your sig company with drama?

I think it depends on the drama if the person with the sig was involved or not.

You can look at my sig if you feel like it... but this thread doesn't deliver good drama :(

If it's a kick ass drama title on the thread that people KNOW will get posts... people will throw a "see sig" in just to make it quick... then go and read the original post after.

I don't think anyone really associates those people with the drama per se... but there a lot of people who see those people and associate them as being nothing more than a sig whore.

I knew once I posted this that the views would skyrocket versus the posts.

Ya guess my thread isnt a real question and more of just a general observation. Was bored waiting on a download and I noticed it again.

I like sigs and avatars so i can identify people easier just by a glimpse. That's why i dont like those that change avatars often :(.
Clicked on a sig so far i think only 4 times. But it's good for "branding" i believe. I did learn of some companies only through sigs here. Are they worth it for the company tho, i doubt it. Depends how much they payed.

Ontopic. For actually clicking sig, boring threads would be more beneficial i presume, but for branding, drama threads :)

Then only reason I open drama threads is to go sig seeing.
