Just moved to Daytona Beach
 

from Michigan. The weather is great and I'm like 2 or 3 blocks from the ocean :)

I don't have some awesome ocean front view :) Just a small apartment in a four unit place. The place is decent though.

Lot of events come to Daytona so you'll have things to do.

Speedweeks then Bike Week then Spring Break then summer at the beach. More NASCAR
then Biketoberfest and then the cycle repeats.

Not much for nightlife after awhile but you are only 45 minutes from downtown Orlando
for a change of pace.

First on your list should be the Rolex 24 on sat Jan 24th over at the speedway. Get into
the infield for a wild all night party :thumbsup

Na that's long gone.. the city ran it off as well as spring break.. BCR now goes to Miami except for the locals. Only things we have left are racing, golf and biker events.. We get some cheerleaders here every so often too, but not a lot of party type stuff like we used to have.

I grew up in Orlando and spent a lot of time in Daytona. I love that town.

That's funny because I took my daughter for a walk down to the beach and around that convention center and there were 100's of cheerleaders everywhere. There must of been some competition or something going on. They were young though.

We will have to get a weekly Daytona Webmaster gathering going.

I've stayed in Daytona a good number of times and I really enjoyed it. Much better than Michigan weather

ahh paradise... last time I went there, I forgot to put sunlotion for 1 afternoon and became as red as a tomato...worst error.. I just wanted to stay a few hours before taking my bus to go back to icy cold Canada where you see nothing but snow and hard cold ice and icy cold freezing wind that cracks the skin on your hands. Ya who knows. I walked in there last night smoking a cigarette and she about took my head off. I didn't know you can't smoke in places that serve food in Florida. Michigan you can smoke anywhere.
