i think i found a picture of a friend and asked her, she said she never went on there. lies or truth ? do dating sites randomly spider images and create profiles ?

Yes I have.

I have also been in the club, and recognized a half to dozen people from local sites... plenty of fish, Yahoo Personals, etc.

I cackle and move on.

Not exactly that but a few months ago I randomly clicked on a link in a thread accusing a website of stealing content from spunkycash sites and others, went there and the thing I saw was screengrabs from a sextape featuring a girl who looked exactly like a friend I had just fallen out with down to moles, moustache, extra weight and freaky nose :Oh crap

Funny.... well if they are on webcam sites when you know they are showing the goods.... couple of drinks and you should be home free.

they dont spider and create profiles, but a lot of scammers join with fake pics stolen from other places like myspace

i dont know but something fishy is going on. like i saw lucy liu and the other time madonna as a profile....dont these dating sites get sued for this kind of stuff ?
