ChargeBacks What to do
Hey Guys,
For the first time in 2 years we got some chargebacks (10) of 2 different members. Im wondering what its normal to do in this case, is there somewhere to report this fraudulent Transactions ? Is there a site were we can post this kind of stuff so other Webmasters can Banned this motherfuckers in advance ? and this would not happen to them. Im refferring to Ips, CC data, emails etc. thxs :( |
I saw a site once that threatened to send anyone who disputed the charge to collections :)
I've always written it off as part of the cost of doing business, along with the stolen pics. I'm curious to see if anyone has some input. |
not much you can do, its a part of the business. I notice with our webcam program too, when we get chargebacks they are usually multiple from the same person. Then we remove the member and block his IP.

where are the people who did the chargebacks ?
US, Canada , Mexico ,??? |
You can always have the CC blacklisted with your processor as well...

thats done automatically :thumbsup |
Who is the processor??? Do they argue the charge backs?? Of not, you should if you can. You should have server logs of the guys IP logging in, and if its a VISA and the guy claims it was a family member, then you refer Visa to their own rule that he is responsible for anyone in the household that uses the card.
If that does not work and you lose the charge, mail a card to his house letting his wife know. :) |
