Just replaced about 1/8 of mine. It's metal (which is SUPPOSED to have a 50 year warranty, hahahahahaha) and a tree fell on it 7 years ago and it was patched. It's also the part of the roof where the septic outflow or whatever is called is and the power/cable/phone line entry which all needs boots or somesuch. They tried to repair it several times but it just wasn't taking.

I will probably replace the rest of it in a year or so - $12K+ :(

Replaced half of ours after a hailstorm a summer ago.

I remember going through that many moons ago in elementary school at my parent's house. Horrific noice that lasted for weeks... till they fired the contractor and got somebody who knew what the fuck they were doing and everything was wrapped in a week.

well its a 25 year roof, however, hurricane can come this june and do what it did to it few months back LOL ;)

we had to patch part of roof after last hurricane, then replace roof.

So its replaced, and its a pretty dark brown.

we are remodeling from the ground up(sounds backwards though i know since we had to replace roof) but it had to be... next is replacing floor throughout entire house. as well as replacing all windows... its an adventure thats for sure.
