Just think about it... one day the kid's going to be a teen, and they will probably have friends that watch porn movies / sites / whatever. Chances are someone will find out, and the kid will have no life at school... can you imagine how a kid would react if someone at school said they just saw their mother taking a 12" dick up the ass, or getting cummed on by a few dozen guys?

And what if the kid stumbles upon some porn featuring their mother...

Now, I'm not trying to pass judgement or anything. I'm just wondering about the practical implications of porn stars having children. I know I wouldn't like it if my mother starred in porn vids...

in the case of a porn star, if the porn star is smart and tells them something like "I'm an independant movie star" or "I'm a model" then that kid has the ability to look good in the eyes of his/her peers... and once they are teens... I would imagine not so much a downgrading from peers but something to the effect of "so when could I fuck your mother?" if the mother still looks good that is... yes it probably would be tramatizing but hey...

now in the case of the porn webmasters/mistresses, what does a kid say? my mommy or daddy is a web designer?... then the question arrises "what kind of web sites do they design? disney.com?" or "perhaps on career day/parent day your mommy or daddy could show the whole class how to make a web page." that could cause quite the conflict... yes it's easy to cover it up while they're small, but no matter what... it is harder to hide the facts when they know what porn is.

Basically, when your kids get older, people in their high school will tell them all about how they saw you get fucked fourty different ways. When your kids reply with "Well your mom isn't a virgin either" that won't impress the other kids. Simple as that.
While I think there is nothing wrong with doing porn, I do think the kids might suffer severe bullying and such because of it.

Now, you may not see the happiness of your children as something worth seriously thinking about, but most people do. This will seriously affect their lives, and if you don't think of a good way to deal with it, it might have a large negative influence on them. (another question: when are you going to tell them you fuck on cam?)

Creating porn sites is less "visible" than being in porn. When someone visits a site owned by me, they won't think "Oh my god! Thomas made that thing!". With being in porn, it's something completely different.
Also, creating adult sites is less stigmatizing than being in porn. When I tell people I make porn sites, they usually don't react badly. When I tell them I've been in a few porn movies, they most often are completely shocked.

I'm not calling porn stars lowlifes. In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with doing porn. However, that does not cancel out any of pracrtical implications.

What I am saying is that being in porn might cause severe problems for the children, and I'm asking what the opinions of people on this board are. Also, I'd like to find out if there are good ways to deal with this, because it might not necessarily cause problems, when handled the right way.
If you read my post, you'll notice that I'm saying I've been in porn as well. I do, however, hope to have children one day. Unlike you, I realize this might cause problems, and am thinking of ways to handle those.

The self-loathing latent in this industry is one of the reasons I discourage models from turning the corner from nude posing into the fuck and suck arena.

The porn industry is for adults, adults without children, and adults with grown up children. I really think it's a bad idea for people with kids who haven't left home.

Children put in the unenviable position of having to explain or defend what their parents do, should have to do that of course, but they will be put in that position nevertheless, which is why I would urge people with children under college age in school to be in some other kind of business until they don't have kids around.

to deal with it you teach your child to defend him/herself Intelligently and swiftly... my advise is put the child through martial arts this will teach alot more than fighting, but learning to defend ones self isn't a bad thing... and when the child is old enough to comprehend and understand exactly what is going on, explain it to them...

if someone doesn't believe that they can share what they do with their family then maybe they should rethink the business they're in... if you're proud of what you do and don't care what others think, then why not do it?
