they already own most of the company now and with BAC and citi group... these 2 are in the top 3 biggest US Banks

BAC should have never bought merrill lynch for 50 billion, that is why they are Down... :helpme

look at Royal Bank of Scotland ;-( ireland is nationalizing it's banks.... :helpme

Nationalising banks would be a great move in the long term.

I thought you couldn't short these stocks right now?

I am doing better with different ETFS today, betting against the DOW, S&P and NASDAQ, so please keep the economy in the shitty cuz it's paying off :) and probably will for the next 6 months.

All banks have to be nationalized and the federal reserve, world bank, Fed closed. Has to be done if we want any real future. Why should we pay private corporations interest to issue money.

XLF is a decent buy if you like ETF's and want to cover most of the financial sector.
