My laptop: Fuck You Apple!
I've been wondering why the fuck I can't run After Effects on my new laptop.
It's an HP Pavilion -something, came with Vista. Naturally, I formatted the HDD and installed XP on it. When I try to run After Effects, it freezes. Thing is that it needs QuickTime. Whenever I try to install quicktime, it freezes itunes - same shit Now I'm tied to Sony Vegas which kinda sucks anyone know any solution to this? When I run quicktime player it just gives me an error. This happens ONLY to iTunes and Quicktime. ALL OTHER apps run fine. |
Only use certified systems for videoediting, or you will most likely get errors like this

It's some kind of conflict because of the XP installation instead of Vista... I think. |
and use quicktime version 7.4.5
|
Came with Vista and you formatted/installed XP.
I guarantee you fucked up somewhere if it won't even install itunes/quicktime. What is the error btw? |

There can be a million of reasons for the problem you have. - First of all make sure you use quicktime version 7.4.5 - Make sure your DirectX is installed and updated - Update the Displaydriver What does the errorlog tell you? |
Tell me the exact model of Pavilion you have

or go here:

Great, now Apple gets the blame for shitty Windows. Just use Microsofts' versions of QT and Itunes...what is that, Zune?
|
I would have just left Vista on it...
|
switch over to a mac
