Does Webair respond to support tickets on the weekend?
I already called them when my sites went down today... I don't feel like calling back over a small issue. Think they will respond to a support ticket?

Just commenting on your post... sites went down... damn, sucks, know the feeling |
Last night I sent a support ticket asking if they could upgrade their software to meet the minimum system requirements for Magento. Today I'm updating sites when they go down. I call and after about 5 minutes they come back and say "yea we planned that, they will be back up in a few". Then I call back around 11pm tonight and tell them I really need to know about magento... They tell me to send an email and they give me an address. They say I will get an answer in 1 hour. I call back just now (3 hours later) and they say they can't do it. Then he tells me someone replied to my support ticket about 45 minutes after I sent it last night. He says it was sent to my email addy they sent my invoices to. I always get my invoices, I did not get that email and I do not have a spam filter. Thats fucking amazing.
I wasn't totally surprised they wouldnt upgrade php, mysql, and install 4 extensions for me. I was surprised at how god damn long it took to get that fucking answer. The bullshit imaginary email pissed me off too. |
Their support on the weekends is no different than their support during the week.
shitty and practically non-existent 24/7/365 their support is the same unacceptable :2 cents: |

just 2 extensions missing:
Your server does not meet the following requirements in order to install Magento. The following requirements failed, please contact your hosting provider in order to receive assistance with meeting the system requirements for Magento: * You are missing the pdo extension * You are missing the pdo_mysql extension The following requirements were successfully met: * You have PHP 5.2.0 (or greater) * Safe Mode is off * You have MySQL 4.1.20 (or greater) * You have the curl extension * You have the dom extension * You have the gd extension * You have the hash extension * You have the iconv extension * You have the mcrypt extension * You have the pcre extension * You have the simplexml extension Could consider installing them, depending on the type of account required. Setup fees would be required. |
We dont suck and could get all that installed for you NO PROBLEM.

Damn look at all the vultures circling around in here lol The man ask a simple question and the vultures are begging for his killings! LOL Amazes me what other host and designers will do to try to get biz!!
|
Just a heads up. Read the Magento *upgrades* forum... yeah, Magento is far from primetime unless you have a full dev team.
Don't get me wrong, it has great potential... but there are a lot of show stoppers. |
