Chameleon Submitter and Ubuntu

Technical question for Ubuntu people....

Has anyone had any luck getting Chamemeon Submitter to run under the latest version of Ubuntu? Crossover office installs Chameleon no problem.

Then the wonderful error appears "Database Error!. Check MDAC and Jet Installations". We installed MDAC and Jet with Crossover office and still are having no luck. :Oh crap

Any ideas?.. Anyone?.....

PS.. We really love the blue skin

Use a vitual machine. That's about the only way you're going to get it to work.

I use VMware on my Macbook to load up Chameleon. Would be nice to have a mac version of the software but I doubt that is in the plans.

That's what we are doing now. We want to get away from windows. The lappy has 4 Gigs of ram in it. Ubuntu loves it and XP is only using 2 Gigs...

Just don't fuck up your virtual machine with XP installed with VMware and lose all your galleries and such.
