SE rankings

How many links pointing back to your websites or your domains do you need to be ranked high in the search engine.

If I have 5 of mine domains listed at 10K different websites will that improve my search engine ranking and by how much.

I'm about to have that done but don't know if it will help my rankings so if any of you could help with that.

Thanks

It's not quantity that matters but quality. If you have 10,000 links to your site from obscure listings that nobody has ever heard of, that won't mean a thing compared to say a front page link from Google or CNN. It's about quality, not quantity.

I know that but the sites taht my links will be on have more then
10 000 other websites pointing to them.

So basiclly they are not unknown websites they are knows ones.

So my links will be places in a real websites that have many websites linking back to them.

If I'm understanding you correctly, what you are describing is known as a link farm. Participating in such a scheme is a good way to earn a premature removal from the engines, particularly Google.

Check these pages with Google's Search Bar and get their PR rating. If these 10,000 sites you say of have a PR > 4, you'll do very well. I have a feeling this is a link farm and those PR's will be 0 or 1.

Sounds like quite the scam. I'd avoid it.

Definitely you got to avoid the link farms. I made the mistake last year of putting quite a few of my domains in them, and BAM --- banned out of the water in no time!

Those threads always remind me of a Bad Religion song:

offer me eternity, and i'll trade a cup of coffee and a dime, looking
for a handout on behalf of those who have so little time, but who
wants to live on just 70 cents a day? padding your pockets doesn't
make this a better place, "cereal and water" is a feast for some you
say, your price-tag on existence can't cover your double face, quality
or quantity: a choice you have to make, dipping in the icing, bringing
home the largest turkey from the field, breaking all the piggy banks,
scooping up the booty, licking all the right holes, bolstering the
payroll, why reduce life to a dollar amount per day? and why let the
world think this is the american way? your uneaten greens ar a feast
for some you say, survival and living are concepts you can't equate,
quality or quantity don't tell me they're the same
