OK he's not a rogue trader, he's a banker but he may as well be because he built RBS into one of the most leveraged institutions in the world (1.9 Trillion institution) which now looks like it could single handedly wreck the UK economy. One of the biggest mistakes he made was over paying for an acquisition (ABN Amro) which was waylaid in subprime debt. Gordon brown ripped on him yesterday but I personally think that man should be jailed.

Anyone stupid enough to still be holding UK currency?

Regular hard working people all over the country are losing their jobs and most average people on the street dont even really understand whats going on.

Its a fucking disgrace what these bankers have done....... they should be shot. Its even worse what the government did in failing to build a cushion (ie surplus) or think about the problems and recognise the bubble instead of focusing on dimwitted shit, labour spin, political scandals and other crap. The media was harping on about excessive debt for a long, long time - we read about it in the papers every other week but nothing was done.

the problem with those leaders are, they dont know that there is a way how to deal with such situations, called BK. I see UK is on the way to the Iceland, if they nationalized their banking industry (in order to save it).
once they fully nationalized banks in the Iceland, everyone knew that Iceland is BK too...
it would be much wiser to make a banking holiday in the whole world, put all those dead banks who are pretending to be ok in the bankrupcy and put the money into cca. 10% rest banks bank who can surive current mess. BUT DONT PUT MONEY INTO BIG BLACK HOLES aka 90% of banks nowadays.

But the US and UK leaders are too contected to big banksters, instead of jails, they are rather putting money in black holes....

Yeah banksters, thats exactly what they are....... I really hope they lock him up.
