would you buy 6 month or 12 month excls content
 

Hi guys ,
I have been looking at some ways to change a few things and people have told me many times to take our Exclusive for life content and make it a 6 or 12 month contract , give the buyer the same rights for that term as we would before ,

So can i hear some feed back on this what do you think ?

I'm sick of guys that want us to shoot exclusive sets, 200+ pics, lifetime license, as many URLs as they like, give it to affiliates and pay us $150 a set.:ak47:

They then tell me XYZ-Content do it, I go look and find it's so poor quality it's only fit for www.skanky-girls.com or www.crackheadsluts.com

But then we do have some clients who are very willing to pay the right price for exclusive. :)

Prostock, do what you can but always charge the most you can get, not the least.

I would buy 12 month exclusive if it was cheaper than lifetime exclusive. Cause in my opinion, content isn't much good after one year anyways. In the first year, I would put it on my paysites and use it to promote the paysites too. I've found that content has a usable life span of about 6 to 8 months, after that it just doesn't pull in the sales like it did when it was fresh and new.

After a 6-8 months I wouldn't use it for promotion anymore, I would just stick it in the archive area of my paysites.

I dont think that giving a 12 months exclusive license will in any way benefit you.....

You might hook some clients you otherwise wouldent have, but then again what will the content be worth after 12 months to you?
I would expect that the client buying the 12 months exclusive rights will be using the content to its fullest, giving to affiliates and so on.

I know some does this, but i do not think its beneficial for the biz.

For 6 months you can't charge that much extra. 12 months is more like it but it's value is way lower after being out there for a year.

When I want real exclusive I shoot it myself and go for a lifetime.

well you for the most told me what and how i already felt , this is why i have always shoot and sold it exclus , that way they do what they like and want with it . i Do not want to worry if they killed it and ran the content to the ground ,
we have done very well the way we are shooting now and that is life time exclus sets and all seemto be very happy

and i am sure we do charge less then we should but then my over head is way less then most people ,
