I need a radiator for my sl500.

Anyone know a place that isn't a stealer (dealer). Dealer wants 650 bucks for it. I know for a fact you can get them for like 300 places.

Anyone got a friend or relative in Porn Valley that is into Mercedes?

What happened to yours? overheat damage? puncture?

Nah, they make them out of a composite plastic and the neck on the return got cracked form the hardcore heat conditions out here in the summer this past year. It maybe could be fixed, but its in a spot that has a lot of pressure building up on it so best to replace the whole thing. It's one of the few engineering flaws this car has. The other is the convertible top lockdowns above the visors that leak after a while and need to be replaced.

if it was possible i would do it. the cooling system requires a vacuum.

if it was only a 1993 then your radiator would be cheap - I am surprised the dealer only wants 650 - that's a pretty good price
