I'm kinda glad there is a webmaster-cleansing going on. Demoralizes the riff-raff so the full-timers like myself (10+years) can expand our empires even more. Tube sites may or may not be hurting sales but the affiliate model isnt going anywhere any time soon. There is still a ton of money to be made for the brave and the determined (which are 2 of the qualities of a true entrepreneur).
The key is to promote sponsors that know how to satisfy their members. Sponsors who fuck over surfers and members are living on borrowed time. And if you are an affiliate you need to think longterm and build SITES (not just an assortment of webpages) that are still relevant 5,6,7+ years later and that you continue to link to. For example, I still get sales from sites I built 7 years ago... do you still get paid on stuff you built years ago? If not then you need to change that. :2 cents:
